TJ’s grandma passed away recently and a lot has happened since then!

TJ’s sister and mother used to live with her grandmother. TJ’s mom has a lot of health issues and her sister has cancer. Her grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. By the time they caught it, it was to late it had already spread throughout her entire body, she was covered in cancer. Her grandmother got put on hospice and her mother on December 1st paid rent and had agreement with their grandmother landlord that her mother and sister could continue to live there as long as they paid the rent and signed a lease. TJ took her mother last week, 45 mins to the next city to meet the landlord half way to sign the leases. The landlord left the lease date empty and said her mom and sister (Courtney) could stay there as long as they needed. She watched my mother sign that lease and heard the landlord verbally tell her mother they can stay there as long as they pay the rent. Well its only been a week since the lease was signed and the landord text TJ’s mother and said they sold the house. Now TJ’s mother and sister have to move and the do not have the funds to move. They can pay rent but they don’t have the money to get into a house or a tailer. The waiting list for an apartment is too long (8 months or longer for the waiting list).

The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to TJ’s mother and sister to help them get a new place to live!
